Really fresh flavor and a good amount of seafood. Lots of chicken stuffed into a wrap. Also, the female warden and the male guard were the real-life warden and guard; Rodriguez thought it convenient because it met him the cost of hiring actors and renting clothing. Your patience and understanding was greatly appreciated. Outdoor Dining Courtyard with Full Service Bar. Last night, I had one of those meals - the Mahi Mahi.
Is it generally acceptable to make substitutions when ordering? We were greeted by a friendly server who seated us, brought us menus and water, and told us to take our time reviewing the menu.
El Mariachi - Having 25 guests will eliminate some places right away, while others might even have party rooms available. El Mariachi also provides American cuisine, accepts credit card, and no parking.
Some of us had been here before. For us, our first visit. But what a pleasant surprise. The scallops, shrimp and lobster dinners are recommended. Two of our party including my spouse had the steak carne and both enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans, onions, sour cream and guacamole. Lots of chicken stuffed into a wrap. Others in our party had other dinners. Each was brought out hot from the oven and each was presented attractively. And we would certainly return. We've been coming here for years and had always had good experiences with food and service. Today, the food was still very good, but the service was horrible. When we requested the check, the co-owner did the right thing and comped our bill. Tucked away in the Richie shopping center on the Pike, El Mariachi is a quiet, comfortable, white tablecloth restaurant serving a wide assortment of Latino foods. The three of us enjoyed the beef lomo and surprisingly, the beef tongue. We all raved about our choices, hearty and delicious. There's something on the menu for every taste, including a fine Melot! Relax and enjoy this spot away from the hustle and bustle of shoppers. My husband were looking for a nice restaurant for a satisfying meal. It had been a somewhat rough day, and we just wanted to relax. El Mariachi was exactly what we wanted and needed. Excellent food and attentive service. We've been here many times before and it never disappoints us. And even though sometimes it's really packed, we usually can still have normal conversation. I do recommend that you call ahead to see if there's a wait, and make a reservation if necessary. We recently rediscovered El Mariachi after many years when friends brought us here for dinner. The place is nicely decorated and lively. The service staff is attentive and helpful. My wife is lactose intolerant so we always ask what options we have. They suggested a couple of items on the appetizer menu that were milk free. One surprising suggestion was the tuna filled empanadas. Drizzled with a sweet-spicy sauce and on a bed of shredded lettuce with pico de gallo, they were excellent. For dinner, the milk free meal among several available if you don't consider the chef's ability to substitute or remove milk based sauces or cheese toppings was lomo saltado prime sirloin with fresh tomatoes, cilantro, red onions, green peppers and a special Peruvian sauce - Yum! It comes with rice and beans or a salad. The other meal was from the house specialties menu not available to view online and I can't recall the name, but, it was a delicious lightly coated, semi-thin sliced chicken breast with mushrooms and asparagus on mashed potatoes with a lightly sweet madeira sauce. I think I would have enjoyed it more with a savory sauce as I'm not so much a fan of sweet sauces, but with that being said, it was good. They have the usual selection of expected Tex-Mex entrees but better is the selection of unusual but traditional meals. We enjoyed our meals enough to return a month later! Make sure to be diligent and give careful consideration to your dietary questions and answers! Our family was looking for good Mexican and hadn't been to El Mariachi for awhile. While it is a little pricey for Mexican it's always excellent. There chips and salsa is addicting. We had Quesadella's, Beef and Shrimp Fajitas, which come on a sizzling hot plate. Roast beef and Butter and Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops Fajitas Special. They give you the perfect portion and we don't have leftovers. Their Margaritas aren't bad either. It's a great location at the Richie Center and a nice enjoyable atmosphere. If you haven't been you have to go.
